A fault with the signalling system between Orpington and Hither Green is causing disruption to journeys between these stations.

As a result, trains may be delayed by up to 40 minutes or revised.

This is expected until 09:30.

What's happened?

Following a signalling problem earlier this morning, the lines at Grove Park were blocked briefly to allow Network Rail staff access to the problem.  All lines are now open, but due to the number of trains running through the area at the time services have been delayed.

How does this affect my journey?

Trains have been delayed between Orpington and Hither Green by up to 40 minutes, and may be altered at short notice while we work to return services to normal.

Please allow extra time for your journey this morning between Orpington, Hither Green and London Bridge, and check your journey to see if your train has been altered.
