A person has been hit by a train between Newport (South Wales) / Cardiff Central and Ebbw Vale Town. Whilst the emergency services carry out their work, all lines between these stations are closed. Trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 40 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 08:30.
