How does this affect my train?
Trains are suspended between Mansfield Woodhouse and Worksop.
At present we are have no estimate of when the line will be opened. As soon as the line is reopened the priority will be to get trains running to their advertised times again. We do however expect this incident to last the rest of the evening.
How do I get where I need to be?
East Midlands Railway are currently looking at alternative arrangements to keep you on the move. Please remember that this can take time and be assured that the team are working tirelessly to arrange this as quickly as possible for you.
If you are travelling between Nottingham and Worksop or vice versa you should travel via Lincoln or Sheffield for connecting services, this will extend your journey time by up to an hour and a half.
These arrangements will remain in place until the line re-opens and the train service recovers.
As it is late in the day the number of connecting trains are limited. If you have already started your journey we will make every effort to get you to your destination by rail. If not, we will make alternative arrangements for you. Please speak to a member of staff if you are concerned about your connecting journey.
