A failure of the electricity supply between London St Pancras International and West Hampstead Thameslink means that all lines are disrupted. Trains running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 25 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 15:00.
Customer Advice
Thameslink services travelling between Sutton and St Albans in either direction, will be delayed by up to 15 minutes.
Late-running trains may be revised. This means they may not stop at all of the usual stations, or they may terminate part of the way along their usual routes.
As a result, you may need to change trains to get to your destination.
This may mean your journey takes longer. However, it does allow us to get our trains and crews back to the right places for the rest of the day's timetable.
Departure boards and station announcements will be kept up to date, so please keep an eye on the latest information when you're travelling.
You can continue to travel using your intended route, but please ensure you allow up to 25 minutes extra travel time to complete your journey.
Please be aware that an earlier vehicle striking a bridge in the Tulse Hill area has also affected journeys on this route. Services have now been cleared to run at their normal speed, but delays were increased due to this.

Can you tell me more about the incident?
Unfortunately, we've been advised of a problem with the electrical supply to the trains in the Kentish Town area. This means that some of our services can't move as normal until power is restored.
We're working closely with Network Rail and local electricity suppliers to make sure the power is restored. Until this is done, we expect there will be delays and changes to services in the area. We're very sorry for the disruption.
If you're on a train which is being held in the area, it may take longer for us to get you to the next station, and onwards to your destination. Please listen out for information from the crew or contact us on social media if you need further support with your journey.
