Engineering work taking place overnight between London St Pancras International and London Blackfriars means all lines will be blocked. As a result of this, trains between these stations may be cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected from 00:45 until 05:00 on Wednesday 20 December.

Engineering work will affect overnight Thameslink services that run between Three Bridges and Bedford in both directions. This will be from approximately 00.45 until 03.00 overnight on Wednesday 20 December. Â Â
Services will be unable to run through central London between London St Pancras International and London Blackfriars. A split service will run in both directions as follows:
- Between Bedford and London St Pancras International via Luton and St Albans.
- Between Three Bridges and London Blackfriars via Gatwick Airport and East Croydon.

In addition to this, no overnight services will stop at Kentish Town.
Journey planners have been updated to reflect these changes.
Replacement buses have been requested to run between London St Pancras International and London Blackfriars. Once confirmed these will be advertised on journey planners.
Please check your journey before you travel and allow extra time to complete your journey. You may need to take an earlier or a later train than planned, or use a replacement bus or alternative route to complete your journey.
For journeys to / from Kentish Town, Thameslink advise using London Buses between Kentish Town and London St Pancras International. Ticket acceptance for this will be in place.
