The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Liverpool Lime Street and Huyton. Whilst the emergency services carry out their work, all lines between these stations are closed. Trains running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 50 minutes or revised.

Train services are unable to run between Liverpool Lime Street and Huyton.

Services between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Oxford Road via Warrington Central are not affected.

You may use your ticket onboard the following services at no extra cost:

  • East Midlands Railway between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Piccadilly
  • Northern between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Piccadilly
  • Metrolink between Manchester Victoria and Manchester Piccadilly

Please be aware that the other operators’ services are also likely to be busy.
