What has happened?
There is broken down train between Lincoln and Peterborough. This is disrupting trains on the Lincoln Central / Spalding / Peterborough route.
A rescue train is being sent to site to recover the broken down train. We have been given an estimated time of 2 hours for the line to reopen.Â
How does this affect my train?
Trains running through the area in both directions cannot run. Please check your journey before you travel today.Â
At present we are expecting the problem to be fixed in the next 2 hours. As soon as the problem is fixed the priority will be to get trains running to their advertised times again.
How do I get where I need to be?
You should continue to travel as originally planned however your journey may be delayed by 45 minutes.
You can use your ticket at no extra cost with LNER on the 11:27 service between Lincoln Central and Peterborough, and the 12:06 service between Lincoln Central and Peterborough.
Bus replacement services will leave Lincoln Central at the following times;
11:45 calling at Metheringham, Ruskington, Sleaford, Spalding and Peterborough.
12:35 calling at Metheringham, Ruskington, Sleaford, Spalding and Peterborough.
Bus replacement services will leave Peterborough at the following times;
12:30 calling at Spalding, Sleaford, Ruskington, Metheringham and Lincoln Central.
13:25 calling at Spalding, Sleaford, Ruskington, Metheringham and Lincoln Central.
