A points failure in the Newark North Gate area means some lines are blocked. Trains running between Lincoln and Newark North Gate may be cancelled, delayed by up to 35 minutes or revised.

Customer advice

Network Rail have fault teams on site and are investigating the problem.

The team on site have confirmed that they may be able to manually move the points that are causing the problem. If they are able to do this service will be able to run normally.

East Midlands Railway

Trains are unable to run between Lincoln Central and Newark North Gate in both directions. Trains are able to run between Lincoln and Newark Castle and will not be affected by this problem.

Alternative arrangements are being looked into.
