Following a fault on a train between Letchworth Garden City and Royston lines have now opened. As service recovers, trains may still be cancelled or delayed. This is expected until 10:30.

Trains are able to move towards Cambridge, however short notice cancellations and delays can still be expected on Thameslink and Great Northern services to and from Cambridge at this time.

We were informed of a fault on board a train between Ashwell & Morden and Royston.The fault was identified as a dragging brake.
The driver and our fleet team have managed to fix the fault so the train can continue on to Cambridge. Our teams are now working hard to get all delayed services back to the booked timetable.
