There is a points failure at Syston South Junction. This is between Leicester and Loughborough and is disrupting trains on the London St Pancras 5INternational / Nottingham / Sheffield and Leicester / Nottingham / Lincoln / Grimsby routes.
Network Rail are going to investigate the problem. They are expected to arrive at 06:10.
How does this affect my train?
Trains running through the area in both directions will be diverted between Leicester and Loughborough and will not be able to call at Leicester or Market Harborough.
How do I get where I need to be?
You should continue to travel as originally planned however your journey may be delayed by 60 minutes.

Derby/Chesterfield

All of these alternative route options are available in the opposite direction too. Donât worry about your ticket, arrangements have been made with other train companies for you to travel with your original ticket.
These arrangements will remain in place until the line re-opens and the train service recovers.
