Damage to the overhead electric wires between Lancaster and Oxenholme Lake District has resulted in all lines being blocked between Lancaster and Carlisle via Penrith.
Trains are currently unable to run through the affected area. Trains may be delayed by up to 60 minutes or be cancelled. Disruption is expected until 16:00.
