Disruption between Hull and Bridlington expected until 10:00

A fault on a train between Hull and Bridlington is causing disruption to journeys between these stations.

Services may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

We anticipate disruption will continue until 10:00.

Services between Hull and Bridlington, in both directions are currently being disrupted due to a on track machine having to run at a reduced speed.

Network Rail engineers are on site assisting with the movement of this machine to clear the running line.

Hull - Bridlington / Scarborough are currently unable to operate in both directions with the exception of the 06:53 Scarborough to Sheffield service, this will operate as far as Bridlington and await further updates. The following trains will also operate:

08:12 Bridlington via stations to Scarborough

09:01 Scarborough via stations to Sheffield - Final destination of this service is subject to further updates.

Road Transport:

The following road transport has been recruited:

08:20 Hull via stations to Bridlington - Operated by Acklams.

Journey times will be extended by up to 60 minutes when using road transport, please see station information posters for the location of the rail replacement pick up points.

Alternative Travel Options:

Customers between Hull and Bridlington can also use the local bus service leaving from Hull Interchange and Bridlington bus station, journey time is around 2 hours. Rail tickets will not be valid on these services.
