A safety inspection of the track between Horsham and Barnham means some lines are blocked. As a result, trains may be cancelled, diverted or delayed by up to 45 minutes. This is expected until 11:00.
Customer Advice:
Trains are currently unable to run from Horsham towards Barnham/Bognor Regis.
The below alterations will occur:
- London Victoria to Bognor Regis services will divert after Three Bridges and will run via Hove
- London Victoria to Portsmouth Harbour services will also divert via Hove and may terminate early at Havant (this will be on a train by train basis so please check journey planners for the latest updates)
The below stations will have no train service towards Barnham/Bognor Regis:
- Horsham
- Christ's Hospital
- Billingshurst
- Pulborough
- Amberley
- Arundel
Please note, trains can still run as booked in the direction towards London Victoria.
If you are travelling from one of the above stations and require services to Barnham and Bognor Regis, please travel on a London-bound services to Three Bridges where you will need to change for alternative Southern services that are being diverted via Hove.
If you're currently on a train from London and require one of the above stations, trains are running and being diverted after Three Bridges via Hove. You will need to change at Barnham for a London-bound train which will call at the above stations.
We would recommend you leaving at least an extra 45-60 minutes to complete your journey as this will involve you using an alternative diversion route which will extend your overall journey time.

We've had reports of a suspected track defect which needs inspecting in the Pulborough area. At present, trains cannot run across this track until the inspection has taken place.
Network Rail response teams are on route to investigate.
