AÂ road vehicle colliding with a bridge at Elmstead Woods means train services running through this station may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 16:00.
What's happened?
-------------------------
We've been made aware of a vehicle striking a railway bridge near Elmstead Woods.
Structural engineers are on the way to inspect the damage to the bridge.
How does this affect my journey?
--------------------------------------------
Until the engineers have carried out their investigations, 2 of the 4 lines through the area are closed, whilst 2 remain open, but with speed restrictions in place.
Due to the fact there are only 2 of 4 lines open for use, we'll need to divert some services to alternate London stations, or cancel them before reaching their destination.
All alterations will be sent to the journey planners as soon as we are made aware of them, so please make sure you check before travelling.
