Southern
Southern services may be unable to run between Havant and Southampton Central in either direction.Â
The police are dealing with an incident between Cosham and Fareham, closing both of the lines through this area, and therefore affecting this route.

Trains will be terminated before they get to this part of the network, diverted to Bognor Regis or the Portsmouth area, or cancelled.
This will also affect trains operated by South Western Railway and Great Western Railway, but changes to their trains may be different.Â
You will need to leave a significant amount of extra time to travel now. We don't have an exact estimate, as we are still investigating alternative route options. Please leave at least an hour longer than usual.
Ticket acceptance on alternative routes:
You may use your Southern ticket on South Western Railway services between Southampton Central and London Waterloo, which also connect with alternative Southern services at Clapham Junction, for East Croydon, Gatwick Airport and Three Bridges.
Southern are waiting for more details of ticket acceptance on local bus routes, and will publish these when available.

South Western Railway
We have been informed that police are dealing with an incident near the railway at Portchester. Police are on site and investigations are ongoing, there is currently no ETA on the conclusion of their investigations. All lines to remain blocked.
Until further notice the following alterations will be necessary:
- Train services running between Portsmouth Harbour and Southampton Central will be cancelled until further notice
- Train services running between Portsmouth Harbour and London Waterloo via Basingstoke will be diverted where possible
