Due to emergency services dealing with an incident between Staines and Egham all lines are blocked.

What's Going On

Train services running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

What We're Doing About It

We have received reports that a person has been struck by a train Staines and Egham. Response teams are working with the emergency services to assist with the incident. In order to allow emergency services access to the railway all power to the track will need to be switched off in the affected area.

Until further notice, the following service alterations will apply:

• London Waterloo to Reading services will start/terminate at Staines
• London Waterloo to Weybridge services will start/terminate at Staines

 

Rail replacement buses have been requested to run between Staines, Reading and Weybridge.

To assist you with your journey, your tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on the following services:

• Great Western Railway services between:
  • London Paddington and Reading (in both directions)
  • Basingstoke and Reading (in both directions)
  • Reading and Guildford (in both directions)
• London Underground services between:
  • London Waterloo - Richmond - Wimbledon and London Paddington via any reasonable routes
• Elizabeth line services between London Paddington and Reading in both directions
