A passenger has been taken ill at Winchester, blocking some lines. Additionally, a points failure between Eastleigh and Winchester means trains have to run at reduced speed.
As a result, trains between Eastleigh and Basingstoke may be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 30 minutes.
Disruption is expected until 14:00.

We have been informed that a passenger has taken ill onboard a train at Winchester. This means that the line towards Basingstoke is currently blocked. Until the person's condition has been assessed by staff from the ambulance service the train is unable to continue its journey.
