A landslip at Dronfield is causing disruption to journeys between Chesterfield and Sheffield. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 45 minutes or revised.
This is expected until 14:00.

How does this affect my train?
East Midlands Railway have been updated that they are able to run one service an hour each direction on London St Pancras/Sheffield/Derby services as they can divert trains past the possible landslide.
East Midlands Railway are waiting for a further update on Liverpool/Nottingham/Norwich services.
As soon as the problem is fixed the priority will be to get trains running to their advertised times again. There isn't an estimated time for the line to reopen.

Effect on service:
Leeds to Nottingham - Services between Sheffield and Nottingham are unable to pass via Dronfield in both directions. A very limited number of services may be able to divert via an alternative route but will not call at Dronfield. Passengers are advised to check individual journeys before travel.
Alternative travel suggestions:
There is a mutual ticket acceptance in place with East Midlands Railway on any reasonable route in the area to allow passengers to reach destinations. These alternatives will still be very limited at present.
