An overhead wire problem through the Seven Tunnel means all lines are currently blocked. Trains running between Cardiff Central and Bristol Parkway / Bristol Temple Meads may be cancelled, delayed or diverted.

Disruption is expected until 13:00.

Customer Advice:

Train services between Cardiff Central and Bristol Parkway / Bristol Temple Meads may be cancelled or diverted between Newport and Swindon.

Additional Information:

The overhead electric wires through the Severn Tunnel, connecting South Wales with Bristol, have a fault. There is currently engineering work through the tunnel and Great Western Railway are working with Network Rail to gain more information.
