A fault with the signalling system at Llanharan means trains have to run at a reduced speed between Cardiff Central and Bridgend. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 40 minutes or diverted as congestion increases in the area.

Some trains may take an alternate route between Cardiff Central and Bridgend and divert via Llantwit Major to avoid congestion in the Llanharan area. This may extend your journey time, however, you are advised to continue to travel as planned as all stations will still be served.
