What's happened?
Network Rail have reported a fault with part of the signalling system near Bickley. As a result, trains will have to be manually signalled past the affected area. Network Rail response staff are now on site to investigate the fault.
How does this affect my journey?
Trains running through Bickley are likely to be delayed by approximately 20 minutes.
- Ramsgate - Cannon Street services via Sole Street will be diverted to run via Dartford
- Victoria - Orpington services will only run between Victoria and Beckenham Junction
- Maidstone East - Charing Cross will not run
Trains between Victoria and Orpington may be diverted via Lewisham where possible or cancelled.

Thameslink services are unable to run to / from Sevenoaks and Orpington until further notice, due to a fault with the signalling system in the Bickley area.
You'll likely need to use an alternative route to complete your journey this morning. Journey times will be extended by at least 30 minutes, so please allow plenty of extra time.
Tickets will be accepted for no extra cost on the following alternatives:
- Southeastern services between Sevenoaks / Orpington and London
- London buses on any reasonable route between Swanley, Bromley South and Central London
- London Underground on any reasonable route and between London Terminals
