A safety inspection of the track between Brockenhurst and Bournemouth means some lines are blocked. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised. This is expected until 14:00.

Replacement bus services are in operation between Bournemouth and Southampton Central via Brockenhurst in both directions

South Western Railway Customer Advice:

A safety inspection of the track is currently taking place between Christchurch and Hinton Admiral. This means that the line towards Brockenhurst is blocked.

Train services may also be terminated short at Southampton Central or Brockenhurst and restart other services from there.  

Replacement transport has been requested and more information will be provided when known.
