What's happened?
We've been informed that a train has sadly hit a person. Emergency services are in attendance and the line between Brixton / Catford and Bickley is currently closed.
How does this affect my journey?
Trains are currently unable to run between Shortlands and Bickley and may be delayed, altered or cancelled at short notice. You can use the Underground and local buses between Victoria and Bromley South. Services running between Victoria and Swanley will divert to run via Chislehurst.

Thameslink
Thameslink services cannot run between Orpington and London until further notice. Thameslink services between Sevenoaks and London are expected to also be disrupted and may be subject to short notice alteration/cancellation and delays.

- London Buses on any reasonable route between Orpington/Swanley and London via Bromley South

- For Bat & Ball, we'd advise travelling to / from Sevenoaks instead, which is an approximate 25 minute walk or 5 minute drive away
- For Shoreham (Kent), we'd advise using Otford instead, which is an approximate 30 minute walk or 8 minute drive away
- For Bromley South or Shortlands, we'd advise using Bromley North instead, which is an approximate 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive away
- For Ravensbourne, we'd advise using Beckenham Junction instead, which is an approximate 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive away
- For Beckenham Hill or Bellingham, we'd advise using Lower Sydenham instead, which is an approximate 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive away
- For Catford, we'd advise using Catford Bridge instead, which is a 1 minute walk away
- For Crofton Park, we'd advise using Honor Oak Park instead, which is an approximate 15 minute walk / 3 minute drive away
