The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Bournemouth and Brockenhurst. Whilst they carry out their work all lines between these stations will be closed.

Services between Bournemouth and Southampton Central will be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 60 minutes.

Disruption is expected to continue until the end of service.

Advice for CrossCountry customers:

To help you on your journey you can use your ticket on South Western Railway services via any reasonable route at no extra cost.

Advice for South Western Railway customers:

We have received reports that a person has been struck by a train between Bournemouth and Brockenhurst. Response teams are working with the emergency services to assist with the incident. In order to allow emergency services access to the railway all power to the track will need to be switched off in the affected area.

To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost to yourself, on the following services:

  • Bluestar 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12 between Southampton - Millbrook - Redbridge - Totton
  • Morebus X1 and X2 between Lymington - New Milton - Christchurch - Bournemouth
  • Morebus 120 between New Milton - Sway - Lymington
  • Morebus 119 between New Milton and Lymington
  • Morebus 1A, 1B and 1C between Bournemouth - Pokesdown - Christchurch
  • Morebus 33 between Bournemouth - Pokesdown - Christchurch
  • Morebus M1 and M2 between Bournemouth - Branksome - Parkstone - Poole
  • Morebus 16 and 17 between Bournemouth - Parkstone - Poole

South Western Railway have also agreed ticket acceptance with CrossCountry trains between Bournemouth and Basingstoke in both directions.
