Disruption between Bournemouth and Southampton Central expected until 08:00

A points failure between Bournemouth and Southampton Central means all lines are blocked.

As a result, trains between Bournemouth and Southampton Central may be cancelled, delayed or revised.

Disruption is expected until 08:00.

Alternative travel advice

You may use your ticket, at no extra cost to yourself, on:

• Southern services between Southampton Central and Clapham Junction
• Great Western Railway services between Salisbury and Portsmouth Harbour
• CrossCountry services between Basingstoke and Southampton Central (when the line reopens)
• South Western Railway services via Portsmouth / Havant and Salisbury to and from London Waterloo

 

Replacement road transport has been requested to run between these stations,  however it has not yet been confirmed.
