There is a fault with the signalling system between Birmingham New Street and Wolverhampton, disrupting some lines running between these stations.

As a result of this, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes, revised or diverted.

This issue is expected to continue to impact services until 10:00.

Avanti West Coast customer advice:

Sandwell & Dudley will not be served.

You may use your ticket on London Northwestern Railway and West Midlands Railway services between Birmingham New Street and Wolverhampton at no extra cost.

If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.
