Failure of the electricity supply in the Barassie area is disrupting services that run between Ayr and Kilwinning and between Ayr and Kilmarnock.
Trains may be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 30 minutes.
Disruption is expected until 14:00.

Rail replacement transport has been requested at Ayr and Kilwinning. This is expected to be on site and operating from both stations by approximately 13:30.
