A number of incidents on the railway between London St Pancras International and St Albans means some lines are disrupted. As a result of this, trains may be delayed.
This is expected until 16:15.
Customer Advice for Thameslink
Trains may be delayed between London St Pancras International and St Albans City due to two separate incidents.
These are:
- An alarm being activated on a train at Mill Hill Broadway, blocking one of the two London-bound lines for a short time (this train has now moved)
- A points failure near West Hampstead Thameslink, leading to some trains using alternative lines through the area, and some minor congestion
You will still be able to use your normal route, but please be aware of delays to journeys. Check a journey planner for departures before you go to the station.
Most delays will be no longer than about 5-10 minutes, but the 14:05 Bedford to Gatwick Airport service has been delayed for longer.
