A number of incidents today between Gatwick Airport and East Croydon means trains running between these stations may be delayed by up to 15 minutes.
This is expected until 09:00.
Customer advice:
Trains between Gatwick Airport and East Croydon (including trains via Redhill) are being disrupted by two separate incidents.
One of the two northbound lines was blocked by a broken down train in the Earlswood area.
Trains have been able to use the other line, running via Redhill to avoid the issue. However, trains on the Redhill route are now being delayed in both directions due to the emergency services dealing with an incident between this station and Purley.
The broken down train has now moved, but there will still be disruption in the area.
You can continue to use your normal service, but please leave at least 15 minutes of extra time for your journey.
