Major engineering work is taking place between Huddersfield and Leeds on weekdays from Monday 21 October until Friday 22 November as part of the TransPennine Route Upgrade, closing all lines.

Northern

Services between Wigan Wallgate and Leeds will be diverted to run via Bradford Interchange / Halifax, and will not call at Dewsbury and Brighouse.

Replacement bus services will operate between Halifax / Brighouse and Leeds.

TransPennine Express

Buses will replace trains to / from Dewsbury, and will be running on an amended timetable. Replacement buses will operate between Dewsbury and Huddersfield / Leeds.

• Services between Liverpool Lime Street and Newcastle will run to an amended timetable.
• Services to / from Manchester Airport will operate to / from Manchester Victoria instead.
• Services between Manchester Piccadilly and Hull will operate between Leeds and Hull only. You should use alternative services between Manchester Piccadilly and Leeds to complete your journey.
• Additional services will operate between Manchester Piccadilly and Huddersfield at peak and evening times, calling at all stations.

Replacement Buses:

• An hourly replacement bus service will operate between Manchester Airport and Huddersfield.
• An hourly replacement bus service will operate between Huddersfield and Leeds, calling at Deighton, Mirfield, Ravensthorpe, Dewsbury, Batley, Morley and Cottingley.
• An hourly replacement bus service will operate between Huddersfield and Leeds, calling at Dewsbury only.
