Engineering work is taking place between York and Darlington, closing lines from 20:00 on Saturday until 10:00 on Sunday.

CrossCountry:

Buses will replace trains between York and Darlington.

Grand Central:

The 15:29 Sunderland to London Kings Cross service will be retimed.

The 19:27 London Kings Cross to Sunderland service will terminate at York. An additional York to Sunderland service will run, calling at Thirsk, Northallerton, Eaglescliffe and Hartlepool.

LNER:

Saturday:

After 20:00, buses will replace trains between York and Darlington, calling at Northallerton.

Sunday:

Before 10:00, services towards London will start from York. The first train from Newcastle to London Kings Cross will depart at 10:00.

The 08:30 Leeds to Edinburgh service will start from Darlington at 09:36.

TransPennine Express:

Saturday:

From 18:00, services from York to Middlesbrough will be replaced by buses, calling at Thirsk, Northallerton, Yarm and Thornaby.

From 19:00, services from Middlesbrough to York will be replaced by buses, calling at Thornaby, Yarm, Northallerton and Thirsk.

From 19:00, services from Newcastle to York will be replaced by buses, calling a Chester-le-Street, Durham, Darlington and Northallerton.

From 20:00, services from York to Newcastle service will be replaced by buses, calling at Northallerton, Darlington, Durham and Chester-le-Street.
