Engineering work is taking place between Frome and Castle Cary, closing all lines.
Buses will replace trains between Westbury / Frome and Castle Cary.
Great Western Railway
"Local" Services:
Trains will run between Great Malvern / Gloucester / Bristol Temple Meads / Westbury and Frome and between Castle Cary and Yeovil Pen Mill / Weymouth. Most trains will depart Weymouth earlier than normal to maintain connections with the buses at Castle Cary.
Buses will replace trains between Frome and Castle Cary.
High Speed Services:
Trains between London Paddington and Plymouth / Penzance will divert between Reading and Taunton (via Bristol Temple Meads where they will call additionally). Most will depart London Paddington and Reading 20 minutes earlier and some may be cancelled.
Most trains between London Paddington and Taunton / Exeter St Davids will run between London Paddington and Westbury only, with the exception of the below:
Additionally on Saturday, the 20:08 Paignton to Newton Abbot will not run.
Buses will replace trains between Westbury and Castle Cary.
South Western Railway:
It is not yet known how South Western Railway will be affected by this engineering work.
