If you are travelling between Watford Junction and St Albans Abbey, you can travel via London Euston & London St Pancras International to St Albans City station.
If you chose to drive your car and park at a station on one of the routes below because of this disruption, your rail ticket will be valid to travel back to the same station later in the day to collect your car.

- Thameslink between London St Pancras International and St Albans City (typically: Watford to London Euston via St Albans, 1 hr 20 min)
- Arriva bus route 321 (Arriva The Shires): Sapphire' Line: Watford Junction - Watford North - Garston - Bricket Wood - How Wood (nearby) - St Albans Abbey - St Albans.
