From Monday to 04:00 Saturday morning, engineering work is taking place between Taunton and Exeter St Davids, closing the line.

Buses will replace trains between Taunton and Exeter St Davids extending journey times by up to 40 minutes.

The following alterations for will also apply for Great Western Railway:

• The Night Riviera trains will be diverted and via but not calling at Yeovil Junction and will not call at Tiverton Parkway. Customers should use replacement bus service between Taunton and Exeter St Davids.
• Some trains between London Paddington and Penzance are diverted via Yeovil Junction, not calling,  and will terminate / start from Plymouth
• The 09:11 St James Park to Barnstable will depart earlier at 09:01.The 10:39 Paignton to Exmouth will depart at 10:39.
• The 12:42 Gloucester to Frome will terminate at Westbury. Customers should use alternative trains between Westbury and Frome to complete their journey.
• The 12:18 / 15:15 Taunton to Cardiff Central will depart earlier at 12:11 / 15:12 respectively.
• The 13:11 Weymouth to Gloucester will terminate at Westbury. Customers should use alternative trains between Westbury and Gloucester to complete their journey.
• The 15:35 / 17:33 Barnstable to St James Park will terminate at Exeter St Davids.  
• The 17:12 /19:14 St James Park to Barnstable will depart later at 17:19 / 19:22 respectively.
• The 19:42 Barnstable to Exeter St Davids will now terminate at St James Park
