Engineering work is taking place between Cheadle Hulme and Kidsgrove, closing all lines.
CrossCountry:
Trains will be diverted, and will not call at Macclesfield or Stoke-on-Trent, but will additionally call at Wilmslow.
Replacement buses will run between:
- Stafford and Macclesfield via Stoke-on-Trent.
- Stoke-on-Trent and Wilmslow via Macclesfield.
Northern:
Buses replace trains between:
- Stockport and Macclesfield / Stoke-on-Trent (Saturday and Monday).
- Manchester Piccadilly and Macclesfield / Stoke-on-Trent (Sunday).
Avanti West Coast:
It is not yet known how Avanti West Coast will be affected by this engineering work.
