Engineering work is taking place between Liskeard and Par all week, closing some lines.

As a result the following amendments will apply:

  • Most trains between London Paddington and Penzance will start / terminate at Plymouth. Two trains in each direction will start / terminate at Liskeard.
  • Trains between Cardiff Central / Bristol Temple Meads and Penzance will start / terminate at Plymouth. 
  • A shuttle train service will operate between Plymouth and stations to / from Liskeard.
  • Trains will operate between Par and Penzance (calling at St Austell, Truro, Redruth, Camborne, Hayle and St Erth).

 

Rail replacement buses will run between:

  • Plymouth and St Austell (fast)
  • Liskeard and St Austell (calling at Bodmin Parkway, Lostwithiel and Par). Buses from Liskeard to St Austell will stop for customers to disembark only, and buses from St Austell to Liskeard will stop to pick customers up only.

 

The last bus from St Austell to Liskeard will continue to Plymouth.

Additionally:

  • The 23:45 (Monday to Thursday) London Paddington to Penzance "Night Riviera" Sleeper service will terminate at Plymouth. Rail replacement buses available from Plymouth to St Austell and rail connections St Austell to Plymouth. Also rail connections available from Plymouth to Liskeard where replacement buses will be available to Par.
  • The 21:45 (Monday to Friday) Penzance to London Paddington "Night Riviera" Sleeper service will start from Plymouth. Earlier rail connections available between Penzance and St Austell, then replacement buses between St Austell and Plymouth to connect into the train. Also replacement buses available between Par and Liskeard for rail connections to Plymouth.
