Engineering work is taking place between Manchester Victoria and Walkden / Clifton, closing some lines over the weekend.
Saturday:
Buses replace trains between Manchester Victoria and Wigan Wallgate via Walkden.
Trains between Blackburn and Wigan Wallgate / Kirkby will be diverted to run via Bolton.
Sunday:
Buses replace trains between Manchester Victoria and Wigan Wallgate via Walkden and also between Manchester Piccadilly / Manchester Victoria and Bolton.
Trains between Manchester Airport and Blackpool North will start / terminate at Manchester Piccadilly and be diverted to run via Wigan.
