Buses replace trains between Manchester Victoria and Stalybridge.

TransPennine Express

An amended timetable will apply accross the North TransPennine route.

• There will be no direct service from the east / north to or from Liverpool Lime Street.

• An hourly service will operate between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Victoria calling at Newton-le-Willows and Lea Green.

Services between Liverpool and Newcastle / Edinburgh will run between Huddersfield and Newcastle / Edinburgh only.

• Services between Liverpool and Scarborough will run between York and Scarborough only.

• All services between Manchester Airport and Newcastle / Middlesbrough will start from / terminate at Manchester Piccadilly.

• Frequent frequent rail replacement coach services will be available between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport (see above).

• Most EASTBOUND Manchester Piccadilly to York / Newcastle services will call additionally at Stalybridge.

• Most WESTBOUND Redcar Central / York to Manchester Piccadilly services will call additionally at Stalybridge.

• Local stopping services between Manchester Piccadilly and Huddersfield will be extented to run to / from Sheffield due to engineering work blocking the route between Manchester and Sheffield via Stockport. These services will be expectionally busy.

• The 10:03 Manchester Victoria to Huddersfield will start from Stalybridge and be extended to Sheffield. A replacement coach will run from Manchester Piccadilly at 09:40 to Stalybridge to connect with this train.

• 00:38 Manchester Airport to York departs Manchester Piccadilly 16 mins later at 01:09.

• 02:42 Manchester Picadilly to York departs Manchester Piccadilly 22 mins later at 03:04.
