Engineering work is taking place between Radley and Hanborough / Tackley, closing all lines.

No trains will run between Didcot Parkway and Oxford / Hanborough / Banbury.

Saturday:

High Speed Services:

  • Trains between London Paddington and Oxford will start / terminate at Didcot Parkway
  • Trains between London Paddington and Oxford / Worcester / Great Malvern / Hereford will start / terminate at Hanborough

 

A few of the above trains will not run.

Local Services:

  • Trains between Didcot Parkway and Oxford / Banbury will not run.
  • Most trains from London Paddington to Didcot Parkway will depart Reading and beyond approximately 10 minutes later than normal

 

Additionally, the 19:32 London Paddington to Cheltenham service will extended to Worcester Shrub Hill.

 

Sunday:

High Speed Services:

  • Trains between London Paddington and Oxford will start / terminate at Didcot Parkway (these services will also operate up to 30 minutes later than normal)
  • Trains between London Paddington and Oxford / Worcester / Great Malvern / Hereford will start / terminate at Hanborough

 

Local Services:

  • Trains between Oxford and Banbury will not run

 

Additionally, an additional train will run at 20:13 from London Paddington to Slough, Reading, Didcot Parkway, Swindon and Worcester Shrub Hill.

If you are travelling between London and Oxford, an alternative route operated by Chiltern Railways is available between London Marylebone and Oxford Parkway via Bicester Village.

On both days, rail replacement buses will run between:

  • Didcot Parkway and Oxford (fast)
  • Didcot Parkway and Oxford (calling at Radley)
  • Didcot Parkway and Hanborough (fast)
  • Oxford and Hanborough
  • Oxford and Banbury (calling at Tackley, Heyford and King's Sutton Village Square)
