Engineering work is taking place between Carlisle and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh, closing various lines.

Avanti West Coast:

No Avanti West Coast trains will run between Carlisle and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.

Buses will replace trains between Preeston and Carlisle and also between Carlisle and Glasgow Central.

Trains between London Euston / Birmingham New Street and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh will run between Milton Keynes Central / Birmingham New Street and Carlisle, calling additionaly at Rugby, Stafford, Crewe, Penrith, North Lakes, and Oxenholme Lake District.

ScotRail:

It is not yet known how this service will be affected. Check back at a later date for more information.

TransPennine Express:

No TransPennine Express trains will run between Carlisle and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.

Replacement bus services will run between Carlisle and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.
