Engineering work is taking place between Birmingham New Street and Water Orton, closing all lines.

From 10:55 on Saturday and all day Sunday and Monday:

Trains between Birmingham New Street, Leicester and Stansted Airport will start / terminate at Coleshill Parkway.

Trains between Nottingham and Cardiff Central will operate between Nottingham and Coleshill Parkway (Saturday) and Nottingham and Derby (Sunday) and then between Birmingham New Street and Cardiff Central.

All day on Saturday, Sunday and Monday:

Trains to / from Scotland and the North East will run on an alternative route and will not call at Tamworth. Journey times will be extended by up to one hour.

Rail replacement buses will run between:

• Birmingham New Street, Water Orton and Coleshill Parkway
• Birmingham New Street, Wilnecote and Tamworth (Sunday)
• Tamworth and Burton-on-Trent (Sunday)
