Engineering work is taking place between Birmingham New Street and Coleshill Parkway, closing all lines used by CrossCountry, and having a knock on effect on West Midlands Railway services in the area.

CrossCountry:

Trains will run between Cardiff Central and Birmingham New Street, and between Coleshill Parkway and Nottingham / Cambridge / Stansted Airport.

Replacement buses will run between Birmingham New Street and Coleshill Parkway via Water Orton.

Trains to / from Derby / Sheffield / Leeds / York / Newcastle / Edinburgh / Glasgow Central / Aberdeen will be diverted to run via Lichfield City (not calling), extending journey times by up to 60 minutes.

West Midlands Railway:

Saturday:

Trains between Leamington Spa and Nuneaton will run to a slightly amended timetable.

Saturday and Monday:

Trains between Birmingham New Street and Lichfield Trent Valley will run to a slightly amended timetable to accommodate diverted CrossCountry services (see above).
