Engineering work is taking place between Hunts Cross and Edge Hill, resulting in the closure of some lines.

The 23:38 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Piccadilly will be replaced by a bus. Two rail replacement buses will be provided. One bus will run from Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Piccadilly, only calling at Warrington Central. The second bus will run from Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Piccadilly, calling at all stations the regular train service would call at.
