Engineering work is taking place between Grantham and Retford, closing some lines between these stations, from 13:0 on Saturday until 12:00 on Sunday.

An amended timetable will operate on the Each Coast Main Line between the North of England and London Kings Cross.

A reduced number of trains can run between Grantham and Retford. This will result in some trains being diverted via an alternative route (Lincoln) and some trains being re-timed, have extended journey times or being cancelled.

Saturday

15:22 Bradford Interchange to London Kings Cross will be re-timed and diverted from Doncaster via Lincoln to London Kings Cross.

15:48, 16:27 & 19:57 London Kings Cross to Bradford Interchange services will be re-timed and diverted from London Kings Cross via Lincoln to Doncaster.

12:18 Sunderland to London Kings Cross services will be re-timed and diverted from York via Lincoln to London Kings Cross.

13:18, 19:27 London Kings Cross to Sunderland services will be re-timed and diverted from London Kings Cross via Lincoln to York.

15:29 & 17:29 Sunderland to London Kings Cross will not run.

16:48 London Kings Cross to Sunderland will not run.

Sunday

08:10 Bradford Interchange to London Kings Cross service will be re-timed and diverted from Doncaster via Lincoln to London Kings Cross.

11:50 London Kings Cross to Bradford Interchange service will be re-timed and depart from London Kings Cross later than normal.

09:23 Sunderland to London Kings Cross will be re-timed and instead start at Hartlepool and then will be diverted from York via Lincoln to London Kings Cross. A rail replacement bus service will be available from Sunderland to Hartlepool for the amended 09:23 Sunderland to London Kings Cross service.

The 09:55 London Kings Cross to Sunderland will not run.

Hull Trains

From 13:00 Saturday until 12:00 on Sunday, Hull Trains will be running an amended timetable, with trains diverting via Lincoln.

LNER

From 13:00 Saturday and until 12:00 Sunday, LNER will be running an hourly service between London Kings Cross and Newcastle/Scotland, and one service every alternate hour between London Kings Cross and Leeds diverted via Lincoln. Journey times will be extended by up to 90 minutes.

Other services will start and terminate at Doncaster.

Rail replacement buses will run between Grantham, Newark and Retford.
