Engineering work is taking place at various locations between Bletchley and Stafford, and also between Birmingham New Street and Smethwick Galton Bridge.
As a result, some late night Virgin Trains services to and from London Euston will be required to divert via an alternative route to normal.
The following changes will apply:
Monday 9 September
- The 23:00 London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly service will be diverted via Coventry, Ascot and Bescot. As a result, journey times will be expended by approximately 15 minutes between London and Manchester.
Monday 9 to Thursday 12 September
- The 22:45 Wolverhampton to London Euston service will be diverted via Weedon and will not call at Northampton - Customers who are travelling to Northampton should alight at Rugby, where a replacement bus service will run to both Long Buckby and Northampton.
- The 22:30 and 23:30 London Euston to Wolverhampton services will be diverted via Aston. As a result, these trains will arrive later than normal into Wolverhampton.
