Engineering work is taking place between Kinghorn and Ladybank, closing some lines overnight on Saturday morning and Sunday evening.
Saturday morning:
The 04:39 Edinburgh to Aberdeen (starting from London Euston on Friday evening) service will be diverted to run via Stirling and Perth, and will not call at Inverkeithing, Kirkcaldy or Leuchars. Customers for these stations should use ScotRail services to complete their journey.
The 04:39 Edinburgh to Aberdeen service will also be retimed to start earlier than usual, at 04:11.
Sunday evening:
The 21:43 Aberdeen to Edinburgh (and then to London Euston) service will be diverted via Perth and Stirling, not calling at Leuchars, Kirkcaldy or Inverkeithing. Customers should for these stations should use ScotRail services to connect with the Edinburgh / Glasgow - London Euston sleeper instead.
The 21:43 Aberdeen to Edinburgh (London Euston) service will also be retimed to run earlier than usual, departing Aberdeen at 21:12, Stonehaven at 21:29, Montrose at 21:54, Arbroath at 22:12, Carnoustie at 22:22 and Dundee at 22:38.
