A shortage of train crew and forecasted extreme weather means an amended timetable will operate from Saturday 16 until Tuesday 19 July.
Travelling with Avanti West Coast on Saturday 16 to Tuesday 19 July?
Avanti West Coast are doing all they can to keep services running, but some may be cancelled at short notice due to a shortage of traincrew, particularly on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 July. In addition, an extreme heat weather warning is in place until Tuesday 19 July. This means an amended timetable and extended journey times will be in place on Monday 18 July, with the impact to Tuesday 19 July still under review. As such, Avanti West Coast advise customers to only travel if absolutely necessary between 16 and 19 July.
