• On our West Riding services we will usually have some reserved seats throughout the train.
• On our North East services, Coach B at the South end of the train is normally unreserved. We recommend making a reservation ahead of time - especially if you are travelling with others. 

Passengers with Advance tickets will always have a seat reservation. Those travelling on Anytime or Off-Peak fares are able to get on any train within the ticket’s validity period and hence do not necessarily have dedicated seats.

Passengers can reserve seats on any service by contacting their local ticket office or messaging us on social media.

We publish upcoming seat availability for the next two weeks on our social media channels. These rank each service we run on a scale of green (plenty of space left) to amber (service likely to be busy).
