A broken down train at Easterhouse is causing delays of up to 30 minutes to trains running between Edinburgh and Glasgow Queen Street via Bathgate. A normal service is expected to resume from 16:00.

The 14:16 service from Airdrie to Balloch has terminated at Easterhouse. Services are currently being delayed behind this service at Easterhouse enroute to Glasgow.

Alternative Rail Routes

  • Services between Queen St and Edinburgh via Falkirk High are not affected
  • Services between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh via Shotts are not affected
