Engineering work is taking place between St Denys and Brockenhurst / Fareham, closing all lines.
CrossCountry:
Replacement buses will run between Southampton Airport Parkway and Southampton Central, and also between Southampton Airport Parkway and Bournemouth.
Great Western Railway:
All weekend, trains between Cardiff Central and Portsmouth Harbour will be diverted to run between Romsey and Fareham, not calling at Southampton Central but additionally calling at Chandler's Ford and Eastleigh. Replacement buses will run between Eastleigh and Southampton Central, taking approximately 20 minutes.
On Saturday only buses will run between Eastleigh and Fareham, taking approximately 35-40 minutes. Some Saturday morning services will not run beyond Warminster.
On Sunday only, the 17:40 Cardiff Central to Portsmouth Harbour service will terminate at Westbury. Customers for stations to Portsmouth Harbour should change at Westbury for alternative services.
Most services to / from Brighton will either not run beyond Westbury / Portsmouth Harbour, or will be diverted and take longer than usual. Customers should use alternative services between Westbury / Portsmouth Harbour and Brighton.
South Western Railway:
Services between Salisbury and Romsey will be diverted, and will not call at stations between Southampton Central and Chandler's Ford. Replacement buses will operate between:
- Eastleigh and Brockenhurst.
- Eastleigh and Bournemouth.
- Southampton Airport Parkway and Brockenhurst.
- Southampton Airport Parkway and Bournemouth.
- Southampton Central and Fareham.
- Southampton Central and Bournemouth.
